JOB DESCRIPTION: Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and procedures and follow departmental policies and procedures
- Deliver direct care to patients through patient care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.
- Follow the direction and instructions given by the RN or LPN in charge.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards
- Assist residents with daily tasks, and take care of personal needs of residents
- Additional tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current New York State Nurses Aide Certification required
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
- Strong customer service skills and compassion
