Responsibilities The Lead Day Center CNA is responsible for overseeing the care of participants assisting the Center Manager in the orientation, training and oversight of new Day Center CNA's, in addition to performing regular CNA tasks. Administration - 50% * Assigns schedules and assists Day Center CNA's in the personal care of participants. * Assists the Center Manager with orientation and training of new CNA's. * Maintains proper level of supplies for the Day Center. Ensures that delivery schedules reflect the participant's current needs and documents incoming and outgoing supplies. * Ensures that the Day Center's rooms are clean and safe for participants, visitors and staff. * Greets and documents visitors to the Day Center. * Attends their centers daily Morning Meeting. Actively participates with recommendations for improving participants care and reports relevant information on a daily basis to ADHC CNA's. * Checks and maintains door alarm batteries and settings daily. * Ensures that the ADHC care needs are reflective of all participants individual Care Plans. * Oversees daily documentation of Service Utilization by center staff and accurately inputs results within the assigned time frame. * Monitors the CNAs daily documentation of toileting, O2 and Lay down room. Participant Care - 50% * Oversees care for new participants in the Day Center during their first month of enrollment. * Oversees and assists the CNA's in the loading and unloading of participants from vehicles. * Monitors the daily charting of participants at the Day Center. * Ensures that all participants on Wander Guard list have guards on. * Oversees dining tables and ensures that all participants receive appropriate nutrition. * Oversees nametag and coat tag system. REQUIRED * Current State issued Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) license * Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain CPR certification * 2+ yrs working as a CNA supporting the frail or elderly * High School Diploma / GED PREFERRED * Experience in a geriatric setting, ADHC or nursing home experience * Bi-lingual Benefits InnovAge is dedicated to empowering seniors to live independently, allowing them to age in their own homes and communities safely.
