POSITION SUMMARY:Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification.QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:Minimum :Must be able to read and write EnglishPreferred :High school degree or GEDLICENSE:PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:Minimum :Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification.WORK EXPERIENCE:Preferred :Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experienceSKILLS:Minimum :Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.Salary Range: $18.44-$21.40
