CNC Lathe Machinist - NESCO Resource : Job Details

Direct hire opportunity for a CNC Lathe machinist with an Aerospace background. This role will play a vital part in operations to ensure quality production performance dedicated to meeting the goals of the aerospace, defense, space transportation, medical and IT industries. Must be familiar with AS 9100 and ISO standards.

This individual will be a valuable part of our team. They must employ a high degree of workmanship and precision in performing work according to standards, specifications, and work instructions. Have experience in machining polymers. Machinist must be able to set tools in machine properly, accurately measure dimensions, read blueprints, operate machinery, and work in a team environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Quality focused and detail oriented

• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly

• Must be able to stand for majority of the shift

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experienced in ability to set-up and in operating lathe

• Strong knowledge of application of geometric tolerances, blueprints, and specifications

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to fill out required paperwork correctly

• Expert skill in precision measuring equipment

• Proficient ability to read blueprints, measure dimensions, and check accuracy supporting aerospace industry

Education/Experience

• 5 years machining experience

• High School diploma
