CNC Lathe Machinist, Program / Setup / Operate - Thomason Machine Works : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce precision components that meet exacting industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and quality control to ensure parts comply with engineering specifications. CAD/CAM skills are preferred for this position. We are a job shop environment that specializes in small quantity jobs. The position will involve programming, setting up, and running jobs several times per week and sometimes several times daily. We mainly use tool steels and also do hard machining, (knowledge of speeds and feeds for several types of tooling and materials is essential).
