Job DescriptionCNC Operator Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines in a manufacturing facility. This role is essential for ensuring the production of high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards. Company Overview

Responsibilities - Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules. - Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to produce precise parts. - Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications. - Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for accurate measurements. - Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. - Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading parts using a forklift when necessary. - Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols. Requirements - • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. • Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. • Loads machine with work pieces. • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces • Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments • Meets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality.

- They should also have experience working with stainless steel and carbon stainless steel
- They should be experienced in making tooling changes, Troubleshooting and making adjustments on the fly
- We would like to see experience with chuck work, Understanding the type of chuck to use, workpiece alignment, Toolpath Planning, Balancing speed and feed, Part Off and safety procedures
