CNC Machinist - Specialized Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Duties: - Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders - Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency - Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) - Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work areaSkills: - Proficiency in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machines - Strong knowledge of tooling, hand tools, and power tools used in machining processes - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices - Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Forklift certification is a plusThis position requires a high level of technical skill and precision.
