Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of blueprints and CNC MachinesExperience working with Mazak machinesAbility to clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work areaEssential functions include:Study blueprints, sketches, sequence of operations and setup requirementsSelect, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as requiredCalculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and proceduresStart and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as requiredVerify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessarySet up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control dataConfer with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problemsMust adhere to safety procedures at all times.
