CNC Machinist - Trillium Staffing : Job Details

Now hiring a CNC Machinist in Bronson! Trillium Staffing is now seeking CNC Machinist for a Direct Hire opportunity in Bronson, MI. Pay is $20-$25/hr. depending on experience. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30. Responsibilities: -Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses, and saws. -Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements. -Measure and test completed parts to ensure they meet specifications, using precision measuring instruments. -Select appropriate materials and calculate the dimensions and tolerances required for each part. -Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure operational efficiency. -Adjust and reprogram CNC machinery as necessary to improve production efficiency or to meet design changes. -Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. -Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machines and recommend repairs or adjustments. Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. -Proven experience as a machinist or similar role. -Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. -Familiarity with various machine tools, CNC machinery, and precision measuring instruments. -Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. -Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. -Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. -Physical ability to handle machine parts and materials (may involve lifting or standing for extended periods). -Experience with CAD/CAM software. -Completion of a formal apprenticeship or certification as a Machinist is preferred.
