CNC Machinist

We are seeking a self-motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for planning, programming, and making parts to meet drawing specifications using both manual and CNC mills and lathes. The successful candidate will be confident in their abilities to manufacture tight tolerance parts and comfortable with manufacturing short runs. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with highly skilled machinists to determine the best possible processing for parts requiring multiple operations
• Program with Mazatrol, Mori Seiki Mapps, and MasterCam or similar
• Grow in a culture that promotes continuous improvement of both work and self
• Experiment with new technologies and practices
• Work on challenging projects that require you to develop your craft and grow as a machinist

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in CNC machining
• NIMS credentials level I & II is a plus
• Ability to program with one of the following or similar: Mazatrol, Mori Seiki MAPPS III and/or Mori Seiki MAPPS IV, or MasterCam
• Self-motivation and project drive while working well in a team environment
• Basic machining tools (micrometer, indicator, and other standard machinist tools)
• Ability to work safely and recognize and mitigate any unsafe condition
• Ability to select appropriate PPE based on job requirements

Work Schedule:

• Generally first shift Monday-Friday
• Option for a four-day work week on third shift
