The company builds and qualifies medical injection molds for critical applications.Position: CNC MachinistReports to: General Manager Internal Clients: General Manager, Moldmakers, Engineers, Manufacturing Team, PresidentPurpose: As the CNC Machinist, you will build and machine mold components to support all mold building activities. You will instill confidence and excitement within the organization, as well as provide guidance, mentorship, and inspire personal growth to build Thal as a learning organization. You will streamline workflow and achieve sustained customer satisfaction and profitability.Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions Program, run, and maintain CNC Mills Manage safety program and standards Maintain shop cleanliness and organization Train employees and document procedures and work instructions Operate standard toolroom equipment including surface grinders, Bridgeports, and lathe Perform other tasks, including shop cleanup, organization, and improvement projectsJob RequirementsMinimum Qualifications / Skills Trade School Certification, college degree, or equivalent experience Strong organizational and time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and the ability to work independently Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs of weight Standing and walking on shop floor for long periods during standard shift Continually learn and self improveHighly Desirable Solidworks and Mastercam experience Plastic Injection Mold Manufacturing Experience Operate standard toolroom equipment including surface grinders, Bridgeports, and lathes.
