Your Role: CNC Maintenance TechnicianAs a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth manufacturing operations. You'll handle preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and perform tasks such as leveling, alignment, and identifying and replacing parts as necessary. We're looking for candidates with 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repairs of CNC lathes and mills, including CNC 5-axis machines (DMG, Brother, Doosan) and CNC controllers (Fanuc/Siemens).Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and monitor preventive maintenance of CNC machines which includes 5-axis lathe/mill machines, plasma machines, CNC mill and lathes, saws, and key seater.
  • Perform troubleshooting on hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems of CNC machines.
  • Work based on a sense of urgency with machine-down conditions.
  • Accountable for following the CNC machine maintenance procedures.
  • Drive accountability for weekly/monthly checks of machines and help in facility maintenance.
  • Perform machine leveling and alignment on all machines. Identify and replace parts as necessary;
  • Maintain inventory of coolants, hydraulic oil, and lubricant for CNC machines.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
  • Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and material within the facility.
  • Assist in maintaining machine work centers to 5S organization standards.
  • Ensures that CNC machines and equipment meet safety standards and regulations.
  • Contribute improvements to enhance CNC machine performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Your Schedule:
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience in performing maintenance and repairs of CNC lathe and mill machines.
  • Experience with CNC 5-axis machines, specifically DMG, Brother, Doosan.
  • Knowledge of CNC machine controllers (Fanuc/Siemens) and PLC.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and functionality.
  • Strong interest in CNC machine maintenance, machine tooling, electrical wiring, diagnosing mechanical issues, welding, and support facilities maintenance.
  • Advanced Computer proficiency, plus organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming CNC machines would be a plus.
  • Ability to work scheduled hours with overtime as required.
  • Appropriately use and/or wear personal protective equipment as required for protection from hazards of the work or tasks being done.
  • Physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components and equipment.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the entire scheduled shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and to communicate appropriately with Managers, Supervisors, and fellow employees with courtesy and respect.
