CNC Manual Machinist FULL-TIME

$24/hr

Starting pay is $24-$30 DOE.

• Entering CNC programs into the machine, either by creating new programs or utilizing existing ones, to control thecutting process.• Loading and unloading raw materials onto the machine.• Watching the machine during operation, ensuring it runs smoothly and adjusting as needed to maintain quality.• Regularly checking finished parts against specifications using measuring tools to verify accuracy and identifydefects.• Performing basic cleaning, routine maintenance and lubrication on the CNC machine, identifying and reportingany malfunctions to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.• Maintaining production logs and recording relevant data like machine settings, quality checks, and any issuesencountered.• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or notify the maintenance department for repairs.• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficientwork environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent1 - 2+ years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a manufacturing, production or metal fabricationsetting.
