Wages for new hires starts between $21.87 to $30.83 (dependent upon experience) plus $1.50 if working 2nd shift. Reviews will be given every 30 days for the 1st quarter with potential for merit raises as your skills increase.
Unique schedule of four nine-hour days with a four-hour Friday if Overtime is not needed.

+ Responsible for the operation and setups on CNC turning lathes - using downloaded programs
+ Install tools into the proper tool holders as described on setup sheet
+ Teach tools by manual process or tool eye
+ Make offset adjustments to keep product in print requirements. Change tools as required.
+ May be required to learn and operate other cell equipment and processes
+ Check parts for accuracy to print requirements using measurement equipment included but not limited to micrometers, calipers, CMM, rings and pin guages
+ Produce quality products on time and in a safe manner
+ Perform preventive and basic maintenance on equipment
+ Actively participate and support the plant's safety program.
+ Actively participate in the High Performance Team your are assigned
+ Record accurate and timely data, including order completions and quality on daily reports
+ Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. Maintain 6S standards by returning tools to shadow boards.
+ Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on time. Overtime is expected when customer demand dictates the need.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Education - High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) - or work equivalent
+ Experience - 2-5 years of CNC Set Up or Operation experience
Certification & Licenses - Must be able to achieve certified operator quality certification
Other Requirements
+ Ability to read blue prints
+ Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, CMM measuring machine)
+ Ability to make offset adjustments to keep product in print requirements
+ Must have good communication skills (verbal & written in English)
+ Work independently with limited instruction
+ Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
+ Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred Skills
+ Experience machining plastics/polymers
+ Experience operating turning lathes
+ CNC programming skills
+ Understanding of G & M code programming
+ Very strong organization skills
