Description With limited supervision, utilizing broad goals and objectives, this position provides direct and indirect oversight of the administrative activities of CNSNext customer services throughout the regional SGGSA footprint. Responsible for increasing devising marketing and sales strategies aimed at maximizing market growth, fostering positive relationships and promoting community buy in throughout the region. Position will also serve as the liaison to member cities of the SGGSA, the SGGSA Executive Team and other cities that SGGSA provides services to. Provides direct and indirect oversight to all CNSNext customer and community initiatives aimed at increasing marketing share of core services (Internet, Telecom, Telephony and Broadband). Develops and maintains working relationships with all City Managers and the respective Executive Leadership staff in each city. Develops and maintains relationships with community stakeholders in all cities served, to include Chambers of Commerce, Offices of Economic Development, and County Administrators as well as civic organizations such as Rotary, Kiwanis and others that have influence within each community served. Provides oversight and leadership to customer service functions, including billing, collections, payments, customer support, and technical support. Creates and maintains a culture of excellence for customer service for all residential and commercial customers of CNSNext. Creates and executes marketing, advertising and communications strategies that are aimed at increasing the market share of CNSNext. Manages the CNSNext social media accounts. Collaborates and fosters partnerships with internal CNSNext teams, to include technical services, network operations and other stakeholders. Works directly with the SGGSA Executive Team and Board of Directors to carry out the goals and objectives as related to CNSNext Services. Works with SGGSA City Managers and Executive staff to develop, plan and implement goals and objectives. Assist in the development, planning and implementation of goals and objectives related to the new technologies, expansions, growth and the sustainability of CNSNext services. Works collaboratively with SGGSA Executive staff for the management and oversight of annual department budgets. Assists with contract negotiations, programming contracts through NCTC and direct contracts with our local retransmission agreements. Assures that all programming information is accurate and communicated effectively. Assist in the development of rates and services offerings through research, market analysis, cost benefit analysis, cost of service studies and other useful techniques. Position RequirementsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, public relations, or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and communications initiatives. Experience in media or public relations, public communications or customer service. Strong understanding of CNSNext priorities and initiatives and project management fundamentals. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent oral and written commination skills, including public speaking. Experience in overseeing community projects to completion. Physical/Environmental Requirements Position is administrative in nature but will be required to travel for training and to build relationships in all CNSNext service territories.
