Co-Occurring Substance Use Specialist - FloatingLocation: Cape Girardeau, MOFull Time: ExemptWork Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (some evening hours may be required depending on client and agency needs)Pay Range: $42,000 - $50,000/year (dependent on licensure/experience) The ProgramThe Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) model is an evidence-based practice designed to improve the quality of life for individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorders by integrating mental health and substance use services. ITCD promotes significant changes in sobriety, symptom management, and independent living through small, incremental improvements over time. The JobAs a Co-Occurring Substance Use Specialist, you will provide individual and group counseling for clients enrolled in the ITCD program. You will ensure the highest level of care by utilizing stage-wise treatment and adhering to Community Counseling Policies and Procedures, as well as ITCD standards. Participation in ITCD multidisciplinary team meetings is required.Essential Functions
- Facilitate ITCD counseling and education groups.
- Educate family members of ITCD consumers.
- Provide individual counseling to ITCD clients.
- Complete supplemental assessments for ITCD clients.
- Make appropriate referrals.
- Attend ITCD multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Transport clients in agency and/or personal vehicles as necessary.
- Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and federal/state program standards.
Qualifications
- Must meet the Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP). Being eligible to obtain, or, holding credentials such as CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, RADC-P, or RADC as per MO Credentialing Board requirements.
- Ability to obtain CPR/FA certification.
- Valid driver's license for the current state of residence, Class E for Missouri, or equivalent for the staff's state of residence.
- Current auto insurance.
