Coach - Assistant Baseball - Douglas High School - Oregon Public Schools : Job Details

DEFINITION OF DUTIES: Assistant baseball coach at high school level. Will manage JV practices and games and support the varsity program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of baseball skills; knowledge, experience and ability to effectively perform the duties of an assistant baseball coach as stated in the District Coaches Handbook/Assistant Coaching Responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach; ability to satisfactorily perform all physical requirements of assigned tasks with or without reasonable accommodation; previous successful experience at the high school level or higher; able to effectively collaborate and implement clear direction, goals, and objectives for program success as assigned by the Head Coach; history of positive influence and interactions with players, coaches, support groups and parents; ability to communicate effectively with parents, administration, players and staff; ability to work with community youth programs; hold or ability to acquire a First Aid/CPR card; hold or ability to acquire ASEP/NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, concussion, heat illness prevention, and steroid training. Other trainings required by Winston Dillard School District (safeschools).
