We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Volunteer Asst. Coach - Boys Soccer for the Winter Season. With direction of supervision for the Principal and/or Athletic Director the applicant: -- Assist Head and JV Head Coach in Coaching games, conducting practices, traveling with and supervising team -- Work with JV and Varsity HC to implement Monrovia soccer strategies. -- Prioritize health and safety of students first -- Devotion to tenets of education-based athletics required -- Previous high school or club coaching experience preferred -- Volunteer position All postings/positions are tentative and pending athletics and Human Resources approval. NO COACH IS TO PERFORM WORK SERVICES/ATTEND PRACTICES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION FROM HUMAN RESOURCES.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Completion of one of the following courses: Fundamentals of Coaching course completion certificate, Online Course, available through National Federation of High Schools (www.nfhslearn.com) or Coaching Principles completion certificate. Online course, available through Human Kinetics Coach Education Center ( * Sudden Cardiac Arrest course completion certificate. Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com) * Concussion in Sports Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com) * Heat Illness Prevention Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com) * CPR & First Aid: evident of current certification. MUST be recognized by American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. (Online Courses unacceptable) * TB Test: Evidence of current negative test OR Adult TB Risk Assessment Form. * Current Driver License at time of employment.
