Ability to use gauges and instruments associated with the inspection of materials, sheets, ends, and cans. Skilled in the use of hand tools and measuring instruments used on the job. Has or will provide all hand tools associated with the job. Meets minimum standard on company designated color perception test. Job Content: Responsible for proper operating and maintenance of coating equipment and operation of the oven, accountable for the quality of his/her duties, under supervision. Services, sets-up, operates, maintains, adjusts, makes changeovers, and wash-up. Performs these duties to maintain maximum production efficiency and product quality. Diagnoses mechanical and quality problems. Determines necessary repairs and restores defective equipment to service with minimum amount of spoilage and delays.
