We are seeking an entry-level Unified Communications Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is focused on providing technical support for Webex and other unified communications platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues related to video conferencing, VoIP, and collaboration tools. Key Responsibilities:1) Teach Clients How to Use Webex: *Conduct training sessions with clients to help them understand and effectively use Webex features, including transferring calls, using voicemail, and other similar functionalities. 2) Tier 1 Support for Voice/Webex Issues: *Provide Tier 1 level support for voice and Webex-related issues when not engaged in training sessions. Respond to service tickets, emails, and phone calls from users experiencing issues and escalate to higher-level support as necessary. 3) Client Outreach and Scheduling: *Reach out to existing clients who are already using the service to schedule teaching sessions, ensuring they are getting the full value from the service they are purchasing. 4) Basic Networking Support: *Provide basic support for network-related issues that impact Webex functionality, including IP configurations and network connectivity. *Any relevant IT certifications (e. g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, Webex certifications) are a plus but not required. *This is WFH, but need to be local to one of these cities* *Austin (TX) *Charlotte (NC) *Tampa (FL)Pay Rate between $28-32/hr (based on location and experience)Education: *Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience or relevant certifications will also be considered. Experience: *0-2 years of experience in IT support, specifically in unified communications or video conferencing support. Technical Skills: *Basic understanding of Webex or other video conferencing tools. *Familiarity with VoIP technologies and basic networking principles. *Ability to troubleshoot common IT issues related to unified communications. Soft Skills: *Strong communication and interpersonal skills. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
