A Day at ApexNetwork We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Specialist to manage and resolve outstanding customer accounts, ensuring prompt payment and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with customers, internal departments, and external agencies to recover outstanding payments while maintaining positive relationships.

• Contact delinquent customers via phone, email, and mail to secure payment.
• Review and monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and payment statuses.
• Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to reconcile account discrepancies.
• Recommend accounts for further action such as collections agencies or legal proceedings.
• Prepare reports on account status and collection activities.
• Adhere to all company policies, state and federal regulations including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Collaborate with team members to problem solve and achieve team goals
• Understand Apex protocol and become proficient with our software systems
