Actively looking to hire an AR Specialist with chargeback experience to join a team in the Miami FL area! This role offers work from home Fridays! This is an urgent need and will move quickly!Responsible for managing, researching, and answering credit card disputes and chargeback cases. This role involves monitoring and managing outstanding debts, collaborating with collection agencies, and serving as a liaison between credit card companies, concessionaires, and internal departments. The specialist ensures cases are resolved effectively while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Investigate, analyze, and answer disputes and chargeback cases for various credit card types.
- Compose letters in response to cases according to Credit Card Association guidelines and company terms and conditions.
- Manage all outstanding bills, promissory notes, and payments for the company.
- Facilitate and track the payment of outstanding notes from different sources within the company and third parties.
- Maintain and update the Promissory Notes log with weekly additions and collected payments.
- Follow up with credit card companies on answered cases and monitor case results.
- Track and maintain a low record of lost cases.
- Keep the dispute/chargeback cases log up-to-date.
- Prepare schedules and analyses for credit card transactions.
- Act as a liaison between credit card companies, collection agencies, and internal departments.
- Collect funds due to the company while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
- Review and maintain collection agency files on a monthly basis.
- Perform other accounting operations duties as required by management.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Associate's Degree, equivalent or higher education level in Accounting/Business field preferred
- 1-3+ years experience in credit and collections, including completing chargebacks and resolving disputes
- Minimum two years of experience in accounting operations, customer service, hospitality, and/or claims resolution
