The CBO Lead Collections is responsible supervising, investigating and resolving all outstanding patient and or insurance account balances over 30 days old. This involves supervising the Collection Representatives, providing training as needed, and reporting on quality assurance, production and attendance. This position will also act as a back up to the CBO Customer Service Team Leader position as directed by the Follow Up Manager. The CBO Team Lead Collections will use multiple computer systems and electronic payer systems on a daily basis. The CBO Lead for Collections is instrumental in facilitating process and procedure improvements. Team Lead II and III are based on the career ladder guidelines set forth by the dept.
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* College degree or technical certification preferred.
* One year supervisor and or team lead experience preferred.
* Previous background of working in a healthcare related field for at least one year required.
* One year of data entry required. Ability to read and write proficiently.
* Good math skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* PC experience required with working knowledge of Excel and Word applications.
* Ability to demonstrate proficiency with other computer software.
* Demonstrated positive attitude and acceptance of Baptist Health values.
