College and Regional Recruiting and Enrollment Associate Specialist who coordinates and oversees the execution of daily functions of the Office of Admissions for the College of Medicine; serves as a point of contact for medical students; provides information to prospective medical students regarding the completion of their medical school applications; prepares and responds to correspondence; assists in the coordination of the admissions process; coordinates and oversees the interview process; serves as liaison to the University Admissions Office and Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) regarding policies, procedures, and services to medical school applicants; prepares statistics for various reports and documents; assists in the coordination of special events; assists with managing student employees.
Minimum Education Required: Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired QualificationsSix months experience (600 hours training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; 6 months experience (600 hrs course work) in office practices and procedures; 6 months experience (600 hours course work) in customer service. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
