OverviewThe Commercial Accounts (CA) Inside Sales Professional is responsible for initializing, cultivating, managing and growing commercial accounts, adding and maintaining new services to existing accounts, and growing the overall Commercial Account (CA) business within the company. The CA Inside Sales Professional is a store product focused sales role that will utilize a sales strategy to grow commercial companies/customers that will buy our products within the CA program. The position will report to the Commercial Accounts Sales Manager. This position will work directly with CA Outside Sales Professionals, the Commercial Accounts Coordinator and the Accounts Receivable Department, and will provide business partnership with the District Managers & CA District Captains, and deliver sales and customer support for the managed commercial accounts across the districts. This role will grow the Commercial Account business, cultivating existing business, gaining new business opportunities within existing accounts, increasing sales margins, and ensuring customer retention. This role requires a high degree of sales professionalism, relationship management, program management and business acumen. The primary expectation of this role is growing the commercial account business in stores. The CA Inside Sales Professional must lead results from Home Office and demonstrate excellence in communicating with others, exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills, effectively delivering outstanding customer service while solving customer's needs and creating successful solutions.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the Cavender's Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Drive the Commercial Accounts Program to achieve and exceed sales and productivity goals
  • Be the expert of the CA program, products and services. Promote and represent the CA program at all times, and help grow the commercial business for the company
  • Assist DCACs with district-wide, regional or national accounts business, to grow sales
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing commercial clients while actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Cavender's product offerings, with an emphasis on work wear, including apparel, footwear, accessories, and more. Be able to educate clients on the features and benefits of our products
  • Create compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of potential clients. Clearly articulate how Cavender's products can solve their unique challenges
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals while ensuring client satisfaction. Achieve Gross Margin Goals as assigned by the company
  • Efficiently process customer orders and ensure timely delivery of products to stores and customers
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Use this information to develop strategies to stay competitive and drive sales growth
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts. Provide regular reports to the Commercial Accounts Sales Manager
  • Serve as a business partner and key support resource to District CA Captains (DCACs), District Managers, and Merchandising Team
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop marketing materials, promotions, and campaigns to support sales efforts
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable and the accounting team to streamline the set-up process for new accounts
  • Be a representative of the brand
  • Demonstrate the company's core values and be a champion of positive change
  • Other tasks necessary to drive results, top line sales, and gross margin
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 3+ years of progressively successful retail, industrial, and/or contractor-based sales experience
  • 2+ years of progressively successful B2B sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create persuasive sales presentations and proposals
  • A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc...)
  • Experience using CRM. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software programs used to managed and track client information and interactions
  • Ability to interpret documents
  • Ability to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks
  • Ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond
  • Ability to comprehend complex issues and communicate
  • Associate must be able to read English
  • Associate must be able to understand English
  • Associate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned
  • Work in the Home Office in Tyler, TX. East Texas resident.
  • Ability to travel to meet the needs of our business and customers, up to 10% of the time
Preferred Skills
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Functional expertise in contractor or commercial sales businesses
  • Familiarity with western and/or work wear products and industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field, or related experience
  • Completion of professional sales training courses and/or certifications
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to familiarize with various businesses
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to handle confidential matters and information properly
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Prioritize effectively to maximize production time
