QBS has immediate openings for talented and responsible experienced supervisors.

Our ideal candidate has prior experience in managing a large staff of cleaners/maintenance employees and instills the highest standard of service to our clientele. He/she must have meticulous attention to detail, is proactive, and hits the ground running in all facets of the business responsibilities. Shifts are Monday-Friday (4.00PM to 1.00AM) with an understanding that they have to be flexible with their hours.

The position requires the following, non-negotiable characteristics:

  • Precision and accuracy in the performance of all duties.
  • Direct, articulate and succinct communication style, both verbal and written.
  • Mastery of organizational skills, including management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Analysis of issues with a methodical and efficient, yet thorough, approach.
  • Self-motivation to be proactive in identifying problems and developing recommended solutions.
  • Self-discipline to always conduct oneself with the utmost professionalism, integrity, reliability and accountability.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for maintenance and presentation of pristine commercial, residential and retail spaces.
  • Thorough knowledge on janitorial services of commercial, residential and retail spaces including regular cleaning, window cleaning, metal/marble cleaning, utilizes, carpet cleaning etc.
  • Managing staff (including disciplinary action when needed).
  • Approval of timesheets for payroll.
  • Assisting with annual budgets for locations including maintaining inventory and ordering of supplies.
  • Motivate and train service staff. Train them to perform exceptionally by creating a positive working environment.
  • Maintain, manage, cultivate and solidify all vendor relationships along with tenants, building managers, owners, clients, etc.
  • Respond to Emergencies.
  • Regularly report with updates on all job responsibilities.
  • Must meet deadlines, effectively communicate with Management, follow and implement company procedures and policies with little supervision.

Experience/Education:

  • Experience with managing personnel. (union and non-union employees)
  • Experience with facilities management. (Commercial Class A buildings, residential and/or retail space)
  • Experience with vendor/tenant relations.
  • Must be professional and have superb customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate QBS culture, be hard working, and must be flexible to adapt and adjust to certain situations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is a must.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite skills
