Commercial Construction Estimator - GPAC : Job Details

A well-established and reputable Commercial General Contractor has an immediate need for a proven Estimator to join their organization. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company that has been in business for over half a century providing General Contracting, Construction Management and Design/Build services for select clients. They specialize in ground-up construction and renovations in various market sectors and are known for having a strong mentorship program and promoting within.

This is not for a contract hire, but a long-term career as they have an extensive backlog of upcoming projects. Significant room for advancement in the next 5 years as well.

Estimator Duties:

• Responsible for bid day preparation
• Preconstruction communications
• Bid documents such as plans and specifications
• Maintaining job folder organization
• Conceptual budgets/project costs based on quantity surveys with senior staff

Estimator Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as an Estimator for a licensed General Contractor
• Candidates should have a four-year degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, Engineering or up to four years of directly related field experience
