We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator with over 5 years of industry experience to join our team and help us provide accurate and competitive project estimates.

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator who will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase of our projects. As an Estimator, you will work closely with our project management and business development teams to prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages.

Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Bid Management: Manage the bid process, review bid documents, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
• Proposal Preparation: Develop comprehensive project proposals and bid packages for submission to clients.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options while maintaining project quality and integrity.
• Risk Assessment: Assess project risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Vendor and Subcontractor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality resources.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs and provide ongoing cost control support to project teams.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
