• Interpret client requests from approved mock-ups prior to commencing work.
• Install commercial doors, operable wall systems, skylights and other projects based on client specifications.
• Select and evaluate materials for defects prior to installation.
• Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order.
• Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secured.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure safety of entire team.
• Follow all code requirements for installations.
• Perform all other related duties assigned by the Foreman.

Commercial Construction Installer required knowledge, skills and abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years' experience in construction and/or carpentry
• Knowledge of carpentry, metal work and common construction tools, required
• Must have a good driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Driven and results oriented

Commercial Construction Installer physical requirements

• Occasional lifting may be required up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending, stooping and working at heights.
