We are currently seeking highly motivated On-site Assistant Project Managers to service our commercial construction projects. Qualified candidates will possess experience directing the construction of multiple projects in the commercial construction field. Our ideal candidates are builders that value client relationships and think like entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

* This will be a hybrid role, splitting time between in-office work and being on the jobsite. Travel will be occasionally required.

* Develop relationships and service our clients.

* Demonstrate strong dependable management skills and problem solving.

* Work with vendors, engineers, clients, and project managers to determine the best method of delivery for the project.

* Attend pre-bid walk throughs, review, create and submit quality estimates with detailed proposals.

* Prepare and submit Change Order Requests and onsite Field Work Directives.

* Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.

* Coordinate all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.

* Review project documents for accuracy, completeness, and familiarity.

* Prepare, distribute, and track project documentation through strong written and verbal communications.

* Negotiate pricing vendors, acquire equipment and material, and monitor stock to timely handle inadequacies.

* Build new client relationships through client meetings and trust development.

* Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards (OSHA) and mentor others in Injury-Free work Environments.

* Establish, execute, predict, and monitor project financial success.

* Evaluate and communicate progress to clients and internal stakeholders.

* Act as the liaison for clients, solving any doubts and providing solutions.

Qualifitications:

* 1 to 2 years minimum experience as an Assistant Project Manager OR Superintendent preferred within Commercial Construction.

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or combination of education or applicable field experience.

* Able to travel as needed.

* Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Knowledge of Timberline or Viewpoint Vista Project Management software (Preferred but not required).

* Knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid or other Project Management software.

* On-Screen and Quickbid Takeoff (Preferred but not required).
