Lead Construction Projects to Success as a Commercial Construction Superintendent at Etzel Engineer and Build, Inc.!Job Title: Commercial Construction SuperintendentCompany Name: Etzel Engineer and Build, Inc.Salary: $70,000 to $125,000Full Job DescriptionJoinour team as a Commercial Construction Superintendent at Etzel Engineer and Build, Inc. and oversee the execution of construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Who we are: Etzel Engineer and Build is recognized as a leader in design-led, design/build construction. As a regional Merit Shop General Contractor, Etzel implements a 'Best Practices' approach to design and construction. This process leads to enhanced project performance, enabling us to effectively embrace safety, quality, schedule, and owner satisfaction in a cost-effective manner.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, including scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and supervision of field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards, conducting regular inspections to verify workmanship and progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays or deviations from the schedule and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to the scope or schedule.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, leading by example and motivating team members to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Background, Data center, Communication, and/or Telecommunication highly preferred
• Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices, with expertise in multiple trades.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of subcontractors and field personnel.
• Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
