Our ALIGNE Commercial Director will lead the charge in shaping and evolving our commercial and operations. This is an exciting, high-impact role that blends strategic leadership, commercial growth, innovative ideas and operational excellence across channels and countries, from digital to physical supporting our transformation to an Omni-channel brand with DTC focus.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK or LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA BASED. HYBRID ROLE WITH TRAVEL TO EVENTS AND LONDON, UK AS NEEDED.
The Role:
- Market Expansion: Spearheaded push into the US and beyond. Overseeing 3PL strategies in US and UK and inventory levels across locations to make sure we have the right stock, in the right location at the right time to deliver our goals.
- Innovation & Scaling: Implement processes in alignment with company growth and revenue goals and identify new opportunities for market penetration, customer acquisition, and brand visibility.
- Brand Development: Strengthen and evolve the brand positioning through new commercial partnerships and opportunities. Manage current brand wholesale partnerships and manage commercial aspect of our style partnership with NY/J Gotham FC and future partnerships.
- Commercial Leadership: Own the commercial activity for all digital and physical locations and wholesale, including Go-to-market calendar, email marketing, paid marketing and more. You will inspire, challenge, and guide your team to push boundaries while aligning to the core brand values and objectives.
- Merchandising: Ensure we have the right stock quantities, at the right price at the right time. Implement AI learnings into size and style optimization and regional planning to ensure we can hit our company goals.
- Collaborative Team Leadership: Manage, nurture, and grow a dynamic, cross-functional team. Empower your team members to think holistically about the customer journey—from concept to delivery—ensuring every touchpoint tells a compelling story.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Design and trade teams to ensure the creative vision aligns with overarching product and business strategies. Cultivate strong relationships to seamlessly integrate product with creative with marketing initiatives.
- Business Planning & P&L Management: Build and manage a profit-focused strategic omni channel operations budgets focused on reduction of fulfilment and logistics costs.
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research and consumer insights analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and understand shifting consumer preferences.
- KPI Tracking: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all commercial and operation activity across all channels, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
