Position Overview:

As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the team, to interact between our top producers and out account manager ensuring the accuracy of policy updates, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related inquiries.
• Marketing & Quoting: Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals.
• Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and oversee information regarding account renewals.
• Effective Communication: Maintain consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.
• Business Development: Contribute to new business acquisition.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
• Carrier Interaction: Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in using insurance software.
• Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Existing Book of Business: Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.
