Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding a Hybrid Commercial Lines Account Executive to their Genatt V team in New Hyde Park, NY. PURPOSE: Maintains and enhances the firm's relationships with existing clients by executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives. Collaborates with the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer service and ensures service standards including execution, delivery and retention are achieved.The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the agency's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Builds and maintain key client and carrier relationships.
- Responsible for the overall management, continued assistance with and retention of an assigned book of business.
- Helps drive improvement by looking for ways to deepen relationship
- Develops proactive, reciprocal calling and referral relationships with client relationship managers and sales officers to create planning strategies and opportunities.
- Deals with enrollment process management; benchmarking, RFP process and the marketing of clients' coverage, financial review, and coordination of onboarding for new customers.
- Collaborates with producer and marketing department gathering data for quotes and preparing quote request submissions; completing application for new business submissions
- Reviews, markets, and delivers renewals as needed; processes and reviews plan amendments.
- Keeps current with carriers, products and applicable legislation.
- Pursues professional studies and maintains a familiarity with trends in the industry and with new insurance products.
- Must be able to profile clients and then articulate complex concepts, in an understandable way and converse with clients and their advisors convincingly.
- Acts as backup for department personnel as necessary.

SERVICE RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Market renewal business as needed to provide the client with the most comprehensive coverage and competitive pricing. If marketing, complete and accurate submissions to be forwarded to carriers no later than 30 days prior to renewal.
- Handle all client service requests according to agency standards, and if applicable, utilizing the support of a Technical Assistant.
- Process incoming policies, assure accuracy of paper and electronic files, and transmit policies to client. As most policies are direct billed, make sure that the accounts are renewed in advance of expiration. See Monday reports.
- Process endorsements in a timely manner. Requests should be sent to carrier within 24 hours of receiving from client.
- Follow up on all suspended items in accordance with agency procedures
- Handle incoming phone calls from clients and respond to requests in a timely manner. Agency goal is to return calls within same day.
- Issue Binders, Certificates of Insurance, Evidences of Insurance and Auto ID cards (all within the authority of the agency.
- Invoice all agency bill items within agency-defined guidelines.
- Prepare and transmit Schedules of Insurance as requested. Goal is to update coverage prior to renewal.
- Prepare and process premium finance agreements.
- Provide Accounting Department with assistance in collecting accounts receivable.
- Assure that work delegated to the Technical Assistant is completed accurately and professionally.
- Documentation of phone calls and attachments/activities to be added to client file in AMS (including phone calls, and other service related activities)
- Review accounts for the opportunity to round out and/or provide additional coverages.
- Look for opportunities to expand the client relationship to write coverages within other departments (Personal Lines, Benefits, Life, etc.)
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Required appropriate state resident insurance licenses for Property and Casualty Insurance
- 3-5 years insurance experience.
- 1-3 years sales experience
- AMS360 strongly preferred but not required
- Highly developed sales and presentation skills
- Proven experience in building strong internal and external client relationships
- Demonstrates strong problem solving skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated capability to handle multiple priorities and frequent work interruptions
- Proven teamwork abilities
- Working knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office application.
This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience.
