Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a Commercial Manager /Business Development manager to join our client team in the maritime ship repairing/ shipyards /offshore industry. In this role, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all commercial , managing client relationships and implementing strategies to improve profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in maritime and experience in commercial management. Responsibilities Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and partners Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when needed Lead and motivate the commercial team to ensure operational excellence Represent the company in industry events and conferences Submit all proposals / tenders and track open bids or proposals submitted and ensure timely follow up action with Clients until award outcome - Represent Company to attend industry events associated with the renewables markets to promote our services - Provide reporting or updates in Monthly Management Review meeting to Senior Management Requirements 5+ years of experience in commercial management/ Shipyard commercial / Business Development in the maritime industry Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field preferably from Naval Architect or marine engineering Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies Ability to work independently and lead a team Willingness to travel and attend clients/ industry events as needed Those from the shipyard / ship repairs/ marine engineering company will be added advantage Benefits Chan Chee Meng EA 07C3069 R1110620
