Integra US Marketing LLC, based in Houston, Texas, is looking for a Commercial Operator

Job Responsibilities:

In your role as a commercial operator, you will handle the petrochemical gas and liquid logistics of the business and act as an interface between traders, chartering and finance department. Most importantly you will act as a hub between Integra and its clients during pre- and post-fixture operations for international and domestic trades.

  • Managing cargo operations, both domestic and international, which includes administration of product quality parameters and specifications.
  • Scheduling physical movements, including pipeline, rail, trucks, barges and tankers between terminals and third-party customers.
  • Ensure that all scheduling and documentation processes take place in a correct and timely matter.
  • Efficient liaison with customers and provision of a first-class service to them.
  • Accurate collation and timely dissemination of contract status reports, including outstanding receivables and payments.
  • Support the company's finance department with regard to collection of payments owed to Integra, the execution of timely payment instructions to them and the accurate management of letters of credit and other documents required for the performance of contracts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's or higher degree in a specific specialty or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the (petro)chemical industry in a trading environment, handling operations/logistics.
  • Experience in handling logistics of barges, rail tank cars, trucks and bulk shipping.
  • Knowledge in order processing: review of purchase & sales contracts; collection of information to support commercial negotiations; interaction with surveyors, shipping agents.
  • Knowledge of documentary / standby letters of credit.
  • High customer orientation (internal and external).
  • Team player with the ability to work in a “high pressure” environment with minimal supervision while demonstrating a proper work ethic.
  • Company language is English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
