Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support our attorneys in handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone with substantial experience in commercial real estate law who is looking to make an impact at a highly reputable firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial real estate contracts, leases, and related documents.
  • Manage all phases of real estate transactions, including due diligence, title reviews, document preparation, and closing coordination.
  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of documents with government agencies and other entities as required.
  • Conduct title and survey reviews, and assist with preparation of title commitments and exceptions.
  • Prepare closing documents and assist with post-closing tasks, such as recording documents and managing file documentation.
  • Assist in negotiating commercial leases and preparing lease documentation.
  • Support attorneys in the preparation of documents for real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and deadlines are met.
  • Communicate with clients, real estate brokers, title companies, and other third parties involved in transactions.
  • Provide administrative support, including calendar management and managing document flow for transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with document drafting as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  • Strong understanding of title and survey review processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as real estate-specific software and case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients.
