A D. C. Taylor Co. roofing foreman leads a crew of up to 10 roof technicians, ensuring safe and productive work that meets customer and company standards. The role involves all aspects of roofing, from tear-off to repair and maintenance, primarily working with TPO, PVC, modified bitumen, and EPDM roofing systems. The foreman also oversees the installation of roof-related sheet metal components. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

* Fostering safety, teamwork, and discipline resulting in efficient and professional roofing installation; provide regular training, evaluation, and feedback to crew personnel.

* Effectively manage assigned crew, materials, equipment, and administrative work; examine roof and penetrations to plan job and strategically allocate work to crew personnel.

* Lead regular meetings with crew personnel to discuss job site safety, project progress, and schedule.

* Ensure quality and installation according to specifications and plans; perform installation duties as necessary.

* Solve filed application problems with minimal supervision; work with salesperson or project manager when issues with specifications are identified.

* Deliver excellent customer service.

* Ensure job site complies with all safety guidelines; perform JHA and inspect job site, equipment, and PPE daily.

* Exhibit exemplary responsiveness and leadership with all field and office personnel; communicate regularly with project manager, report crew time and document work performed daily, requisition materials, participate in operations and customer meetings as necessary.

Essential

* Prior experience running projects and managing crew personnel.

* 4 Years of Commercial roofing field experience or formal technical training.

* Current valid driver's license.

* Ability to use/learn business technology.

* English fluency.

* Capable of working at elevations and performing strenuous activity relative to staging, carrying, and disposing of roofing material and equipment.

* Travel 5-10 weeks at a time.

Preferred

* OSHA 30-hour certification.

* Bilingual in English and Spanish.
