Commercial Superintendent - Diamond Peak Recruiting : Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee the on-site management of commercial construction projects. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison between project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Review and interpret construction documents, including blueprints and specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and other documentation related to the project.
• Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and adheres to safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct project close-out activities, including punch lists and final inspections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects, including retail, office, industrial, or other commercial builds.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project).
• OSHA certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus but not required.
