Location: CTONSOUTHPARKSTSouthwire Job DescriptionJob Summary/Objective: The SCR Commissioning & Field Service Specialist is responsible for installation, commissioning and start-up of SCRProjects as required. This individual must become familiar with all major subsystems of copper and aluminum rodmills sold to customers and will provide process installation guidance and support. The SCR Commissioning & FieldService Specialist will interface with other areas of the organization to drive continuous improvement in processesand equipment supplied by SCR.Key Responsibilities 1.Work independently to supervise customer installation of SCR systems.2.Use in-depth knowledge and experience to Install, configure, commission and troubleshoot subsystems of thecontinuous processing system including pumps, motors, and valves.3.Solve complex problems to identify process and/or equipment improvement opportunities.4.Assist in the specifications, installation, and modification of SCR systems5.Manage SCR service program to include periodic audits, vibration analysis monitoring, and PM program for endusers6.Develop and maintain PM documents for SCR equipment sold to end users7.Performs customer training on features and general maintenance of the systems.8.Must have a good understanding of equipment functions and be able to transfer operational knowledge tocustomers and new employees through training, publications, discussions, presentations, and other forms ofcommunication.9.Act as a resource to answer technical questions posed by our existing and prospective customers and newemployees.10.Produce daily progress reports during startups and field service visits.11.Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems12.Must clearly document customer visits, process audits, and problem-solving approach during troubleshooting.13.International travel, potentially several weeks duration at a time, of up to 25% is required.Education, Experience, and Skills RequiredMinimum Education Level: Bachelor'sSpecialized Degree: Engineering degree or 15+ years direct experienceYears of Experience: 5+Field of Expertise: Installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.PreferredYears of Experience: 10+Other Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates: 1.Must have strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, be a strong team player, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.2.Self-starter with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement requiring minimal supervision.3.Proven experience of successful completion of projects.4.AutoCad experience or ability to learn to use this software is desired.5.Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.CompetenciesNimble LearningCustomer FocusPlans and AlignsCollaboratesBalances StakeholdersAction OrientedBenefits We Offer:
