Commissions Associate, Financial Services - Alera Group : Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Commissions Associate, you will be part of a growing team dedicated to the support of Alera's Wealth Services, Insurance, and Retirement Plan Services divisions.

* Troubleshoot and research compensation inquiries for Financial Advisors

* Facilitate updates and changes in Xtiva (Sales Performance and Incentive Compensation Tool) such as building new compensation splits and updating advisor payout percentages

* Document management activities including retrieval and processing of 401(k) and Insurance statements as well as uploading documentation to our archive database

* Participate in payroll closure and reporting

* Monitor incoming mail for compensation checks and process accordingly

* Processing of checks and invoices for Financial Planning clients

* Pull ACH bank transactions

* Contribute to additional support activities as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

* Undergraduate college degree required

* 3 or more years of relevant, hands-on experience in a commission processing role, supporting advisors in the Wealth Management and/or Retirement Plan Services fields

* Proficiency with Xtiva or other leading fee and commission billing software required
