In particular, we are looking for candidates who are self-starters, teachable, and able to learn new things as they work together with others to solve challenging technical problems. Work varies based on the project from core, low-level development to high-level designs for system architectures that interact with other DoD components.Job Role(s):This position will:Provide technical expertise in the design and porting of waveforms to software defined radios (SDRs)Provide technical expertise in the development of standards based SDRs for the DoDServe as a technical team member or task leader as required.Oversee sub-contractor integration of government owned waveforms that provide the PHY, Link/MAC, and Network solutionsMaintain and expand knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.Participate in special projects as required.The successful candidate will have:Strong desire to contribute to overall team successExcellent Written and Oral Communication SkillsHigh degree of proficiency and experience with datalinksRequired experience:Required Experience and Skills:MUST BE US CITIZEN: Ability to obtain an Active Secret Level Security ClearanceB.S. required in relevant field with M.S. or Ph.D. preferredPrior experience working within tactical waveformsPrior experience working with software defined radiosProficiency with embedded software developmentProficiency with RF hardware design and testingSMEs may be required to travel.Additional Experience / Qualifications of Interest:Prior military datalink experienceExperience with DoD open standards (SOSA, VNX+, MORA, ...) and DevSecOps a plusProficiency with Link 16 terminals and tactical radiosProficiency with modeling networks of multiple waveformsExperience with radio front end and antenna integrationExperience working within or with the DoDDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple sourcesStrong interpersonal and communication skills working in a team environment with positive interactionMust be proactive in dealing with requests and be able to work independently#J-18808-Ljbffr
