Position Summary
The Communications Manager will assist global leaders in crafting and implementing strategic and change communications that engage our employees and inspire them to engage in the change. Responsibilities include writing engaging messages, creating impactful presentations, and utilizing innovative methods to communicate with employees, candidates, and the market to foster a shared culture and strengthen our global brand. The Communications manager will devise creative, non-standard solutions to help leaders effectively communicate to employees and the external market, adopting communications as needed to address cultural sensitivities. This individual will develop communication strategies with a focus on global messaging, creating, and maintaining communication channels, and building content. The manager will also be responsible for supporting crisis communications, culture initiatives, and programs. The manager will be a part of Huron's global communications team and will report to the global enterprise communications leader and act as a business partner to our human resources team. This individual needs to be a communications expert who excels at problem-solving, understands how to navigate challenges and can work collaboratively across functions.
Responsibilities:
* Build and drive an impactful communications strategy, aligned to key business priorities, grounded in communications best practices and a deep understanding of how the business operates
* Draft internal communications to effectively drive organizational change and alignment to Huron's strategy
* Provide counsel to business leaders on effective employee communication
* Communicate our compelling employer value proposition (EVP) across different channels both internally and externally
* Draft executive leadership and senior leadership announcements
* Manage Huron's online presence, including social media, career sites, and review platforms (ex: Glassdoor, Comparably, Vault, Naukri/Ambition Box, etc.)
* Review intranet site content and work with internal teams to redesign
* Manage and execute the companywide external awards and recognition strategy
* Identify and track data to ensure content is performing and make adjustments accordingly improving internal consumption of communications
* Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing best practices, lessons learned and team wins
* Identify opportunities to modernize communications, make process improvements and drive efficiencies
* Understand and follow Huron's brand guidelines and ensure all communications align to appropriate voice, tone and style
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, HR, PR/Advertising, or Journalism
* 7-10 years of professional experience supporting executives on communications strategies
* Demonstrated experience building trust with internal partners, influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders, adapting to changing priorities and quickly responding to business needs
* Ability to work collaboratively with both communications counterparts and business leaders
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high-quality output
Preferred Requirements:
* Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment
* Knowledge of human resources and recruitment processes
* Proven experience in global employer branding or similar roles, including a strong comprehension of employer branding strategies and best practices and passion for cultivating a robust employer brand
* Superior proofreading, oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail and the ability to articulate a clear point of view on complicated issues in clear, concise communications
* Strong executive presence and public speaking skills and comfort working with and advising senior leaders
* Analytical mindset with experience analyzing and interpreting data into meaningful insights / strategies
* Proficient project management skills and comfortable with employer branding platforms and tools, Microsoft Office, and marketing tools
* Experience working in a matrixed organization, large corporate setting

The estimated base salary range for this job is $110,000-$150,000. ?The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. ?Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $126,500-$172,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
