We have a full time, permanent opportunity for a Communications Specialist in West Columbia. This is a new position and we're looking for someone to take ownership in their responsibilities and grow the role over time. This is a combination of marketing, communications and administrative work to support a growing organization! You will report directly to the CEO and interact with both internal employees and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize the Marketing Library and Materials to ensure easy access and efficiency.
  • Implement and track the progress of marketing campaigns, analyzing metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and update a list of contacts for various marketing initiatives.
  • Create and deliver graphic content for internal and external training programs, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Research and recommend marketing materials for prospective clients, tailoring proposals to their needs.
  • Assist in the preparation and response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), ensuring all materials are accurate and compelling.
  • Collect and curate articles and materials for client newsletters, contributing to effective communication strategies.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries from the Marketing mailbox in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement a system for tracking and monitoring client satisfaction to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp and other standard business platforms for email marketing and communication.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong ability to interact with clients and collaborate with multiple teams within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management capabilities, and project management experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, digital marketing software, and social media platforms.
  • Background and drug screen required
