Temp Communications & Outreach SpecialistPosition OverviewOur client is searching for a Temp Communications & Outreach Specialist who will support the communications and outreach efforts of their organization. This role focuses on enhancing community engagement and promoting health equity initiatives through effective messaging and strategic outreach.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies to promote health equity initiatives
• Create engaging content for various channels, including newsletters, press releases, and social media
• Coordinate outreach activities to engage community stakeholders and organizations
• Assist in managing relationships with partners and collaborators
• Monitor and evaluate outreach efforts to assess impact and effectiveness
• Support the planning and execution of events and campaigns related to health equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field
• Proven experience in communications and outreach roles
• Strong understanding of health equity principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders
• Experience with social media management and content creation is a plus
• Project management skills and experience in brand management are desirable
