Job Description
The Owners Relation Agent I will be responsible for managing document scanning, handling Salesforce accounts and cases, preparing and mailing Change of Address and ACH forms, processing owner account data, and answering incoming calls on the Owner Relations hotline. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with interest partners and industry peers, researching owner inquiries, confirming decimal interests, analyzing data to confirm leasehold HBP status, and reviewing lease documents. The agent will also assist the legal department in resolving claims and civil matters and support various land department responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
+ Scan documents into internal database as needed
+ Create and monitor Salesforce accounts and cases
+ Prepare and mail Change of Address and ACH forms
+ Process new and revised owner account data
+ Answer incoming calls on the Owner Relations hotline
+ Create and maintain strong relationships with interest partners and industry peers
+ Research owner inquiries related to discrepancies in payments, interests, and settlements
+ Confirm decimal interests by calculating various interest types such as working interest, net revenue interest, NPRI, overriding interests, and Take in Kind (TIK)
+ Review lease documents to confirm lease term, royalty percentage, gas price, deductions, and market enhancement
+ Provide assistance to the legal department to resolve claims and civil matters
+ Perform other land department responsibilities as assigned
Essential Skills
+ 0-2 years of commensurate experience
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Ability to build strong relationships
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
+ Ability to manage stressful situations to a positive outcome
+ Professional demeanor and proven ability to work in a team environment across cross-functional teams
+ Self-motivated
+ Ability to adapt and work under pressure
+ Ability to prioritize workflow based on specific deadlines
+ Demonstrated ability to positively influence peers via actions and directives to accomplish organizational goals
+ Possess excellent organizational, communications, and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and cloud-based CRM applications
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required
Work Environment
Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 remote days in Canonsburg, PA. Mandatory in-person training for the first 6 weeks (no calls allowed during this period). Standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
OTHER:
This is a contract to hire position that will convert as a direct employee as long as general performance is being met.
