Objective

Contribute to the increased core deposits and fee income of the Bank by developing and retaining business in alignment with goals and standards established. Lead Branch Managers within assigned regions to meet or exceed deposit, loan and fee income goals. Develop sales, customer service, and sales management coaching to train and develop branch staff. Improve overall sales performance through dynamic large group and one on one coaching. Utilize sales management tools and sales results to drive manager sales efforts. Create & implement action plans to address and resolve sales and performance gaps. Reinforce & improve the sales process, monitor consistent execution of sales disciplines and expectations across the branch team.

Responsibilities/Duties

* Closely monitors sales behaviors and reporting as aligned to business objectives and sales incentive plans.

* Ensures all sales activities are ethical and meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

* Recommend training of all branch staff for sales, referrals, customer service, overall sales management, and coaching. Evaluate the impact of sales behaviors to results and coach accordingly.

* Development of business through prospecting, cold calling, networking and other sales initiatives.

* Retention and expansion of business through excellent customer relations, service and cross sell activities.

* Participation in community and professional associations and events to actively and positively promote and represent the Bank.

* Responsible for reviewing and validating sales incentive results. Recommend changes to plan based off goals and organizational objectives.

* Reinforce a proactive sales and exceptional customer experience culture. Review performance plans, coaching plans, weekly sales tracking reports, business development call plans, and Outlook calendars to support Customer Relationship Management.

* Serve as sales process and product knowledge coach. Regularly visit branches and debrief calls to inspect sales process behaviors and pipeline knowledge gaps to identify opportunities for improvement and increased productivity.

* Maintain working relationship with Business Banking and Small Business Teams to promote loan growth.

* Maintain a close working relationship with the Marketing Department.

* Ensure that branch employees support and coordinate with Marketing Department promotional activities.

* Maintain a high degree of awareness of all other Community Banking Department activities. Provide the Community Banking staff with support whenever possible.

* Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust. Is alert to expressed customer/prospect needs to suggest appropriate services. Directs customers to appropriate person to establish business relationships.

* Department and Staff Management: staffing, hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions

* Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to drive a motor vehicle, attending meetings at various venues, including but not limited to customers' offices and/or properties, restaurants and other meeting locations, and ascend/descend stairs and or ladders occasionally to perform inspections. The employee may be required to lift files/materials up to 20 pounds to take to various locations. The incumbent will be expected to operate a computer terminal, and exchange information. The ability to utilize standard offices including phone, fax and copier are essential.

Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

This position requires decisions for exercising full market development, customer satisfaction, and personnel management authority over all aspects of Community Banking Division. This position is accountable for branch sales development, goal attainment, and customer satisfaction.

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communication Preferred & six (6) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in Banking including 5+ years in managing teams r

* Experience with sales force or comparable sales platform a plus

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to forge strong partnerships across the Bank.

* Exceptional track record in growing the business and achieving strong business results.

* Strong leadership skills in talent management, engagement, retention and balancing an operationally sound team.

* Solid product knowledge

* Strong knowledge of sales management techniques

* Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams. Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM a plus.
