Under the direct supervisor of the site principal, the community connector plays a vital role in supporting students and families toward successful school experiences. This position is responsible for building relationships, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that students and families, especially those from underserved or marginalized groups, have access to the support and services they need. This position will provide in the moment behavior intervention/support for students and groups of students who require it. The Community Connector will work closely with students and families to partner them with school-based support, local organizations, government agencies, and community members to identify needs, remove barriers, and enhance the overall well-being of students, families and the overall community.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: * Experience coordinating comprehensive program activities in schools or other community-based organizations * Experience working directly with children in a school and or community setting * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, social work, health, community service, or related fields preferred * 400-800 hours of field experience, job experience accepted
