DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Community Corrections Center Director 1, you will lead a reentry program at a community corrections center where you will assist reentrants with transitioning back into the community. Key duties of this position consist of managing and supervising the staff, operations, and maintenance of the facility, as well as overseeing operational costs and purchases. You will also ensure compliance with the American Correctional Association and Prison Rape Elimination Act standards, and serve as the incident commander leading emergency responses. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing all rules and regulations for reentrants.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours/week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position requires travel on a regular basis.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Corrections Counselor 2; or
- Three years as a Corrections Officer 3; or
- One year as a Corrections Officer 4; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional corrections security, counseling, or casework experience involving criminal offenders in a correctional facility.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
