How will you make a difference to PMI?
- The Community Engagement Specialist will support the day-to-day operations of the North American community segments. This role will focus on fostering engagement, improving member satisfaction, and driving growth across various community segments, including Chapters, Social Impact, DE&I, Academia, Youth, certification holders and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for building meaningful connections.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Drive community engagement by developing and implementing data-driven improvements that enhance member and community satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational and region-specific goals.
- Monitor community activities and gather insights to report on engagement metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline community operations, ensuring the effective delivery of services to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage communication efforts across community segments, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Organize and facilitate community events, webinars, and meetings to foster interaction and knowledge sharing among members.
- Oversee and manage PMO GA hubs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and efficient operation.
- Lead the management of virtual community groups, fostering engagement and collaboration within the community.
- Utilize analytics and feedback to refine engagement strategies, fostering stronger relationships within the community.
Role Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in community management, engagement, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of community engagement strategies and metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management and organizational tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media management and online community platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience in event and/or association management a plus.
- Experience building and sustaining broad relationship/account management programs and learning culture.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including demonstrated team-based operational and strategic results, balancing between consistency and localization and communicating with one voice.
- Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English).
